Out of Eden: Lookin For Love

Out of Eden ir amerikāņu gospelmūzikas meiteņu trio, kura muzicēšanas stils ierindojams R&B un mūsdienu kristīgās mūzikas kategorijās.

Grupā darbojas trīs māsas – Lisa Kimmey, Andrea Kimmey-Baca un Danielle Kimmey. Uz muzikālās skatuves māsas atrodas jau kopš bērnības, kad kopā ar savu māti, kas bija profesionāla pianiste, uzstājās koncertos.

1994.gadā Toby McKeehan no dc talk, kopā ar Joey Elwood un Todd Collins plānoja izdot pirmo Out of Eden albumu, taču nespēja atrast ierakstu kompāniju, kas uzņemtos mazpazīstamā trio diska izdošanu. Tad puiši nodibināja paši savu neatkarīgu ierakstu kompāniju Gotee Records un drīz vien Out of Eden debijas albums Lovin’ the Day ieraudzīja dienas gaismu.

Jau nākamais grupas albums More Than You Know izvirzīja māsas mūsdienu kristīgās mūzikas virsotnēs, bet 2002.gada albums This is Your Life nokļuva Billboard čārtos un tika izvirzīts melnādaino gospelmūzikas gada balvas Stellar saņemšanai.

Nākamais Out of Eden albums Love, Peace And Happiness savukārt tika nominēts veselām divām Dove balvām, bet 2006.gadā trio albums Hymns izvirzīts Grammy balvai nominācijā Labākais pop/contemporary gospel albums.
